The fourth annual World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints begins on March 6 and runs through March 10. The Indoor Sprints are an exciting joint initiative between Concept2 and World Rowing. To take part, all you have to do is row 1000 meters on the Concept2 Indoor Rower (Model A–E indoor rowers only, no Dynamic or indoor rowers on Slides) at any point between March 6-10 and post your time to the Concept2 Online Logbook. New Logbook Features: Garmin Connect, Social Sharing, Better Privacy and More!

There have been a few changes to the Concept2 Online Logbook recently.

We've added Garmin Connect to our list of integrations. If you upload your workouts to the Logbook via the Concept2 ErgData app (or other apps that capture rowing stroke data), you can now set it up so that your workouts go directly into Garmin Connect. Just go to Edit Profile, choose Applications from the menu, and follow the instructions from there. It's a simple process that only takes a few seconds. (Note that this only works for upload methods that include stroke data, so it won't work for people uploading via the Concept2 Utility.) Continue Reading ›

James Hanson is the Global Motocross Manager for Rockstar Energy Drink. He handles all of the brand's off-road motorcycle racing around the world, and loves and appreciates the fact that he is able to stay in the sport he is so passionate about.

When did you first hear the name Concept2 or try one of our products?
I knew of the (rowing) machine and that a lot of moto guys used it for training but that was about it. I then met Greg Hammond (Concept2 Sales) in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, just up the road from Loretta Lynn's Ranch and the Amateur National Championship around 2007.
