Going From Couch to Consistency: A Training Plan

  • You want to learn more about workouts and training, and you’d like suggestions for what to do.
  • Most of all, you want strategies to keep yourself motivated for the long haul.

If any of these ring true, then this plan just might give you the push to get started. Through the recommended workouts, you will learn about the many workout formats possible on Concept2 ergs, how to set them up, the best ways to track your progress, and the motivational tools that Concept2 provides to keep you going.

A couple of the key tools that Concept2 offers are the Online Logbook and the ErgData app—both free. We highly recommend you do the following before getting started:

  1. Create your Online Logbook. It’s free and will be integral to your fitness journey! Track all your meters and see all your data in one place.
  2. Explore the Challenges section in your Online Logbook. Here you can track your progress towards the Concept2 Million Meter Club and other monthly challenges.
  3. Download our free app ErgData. ErgData makes it easier to download workouts, upload your results, and offers helpful displays and entertaining options.
