Concept2 at HOCR 2025: Powering Rowers, Stories & Community

As the leaves turn and the Charles River regatta docks swing into position, Concept2 is gearing up for a full weekend of action at the Head of the Charles® Regatta 2025 (October 17-19). We have a new location this year; we have moved east towards Eliot Bridge. Whether you are a seasoned competitor, a curious spectator, or a fan of fitness and storytelling, we have lined up something for you. Here’s what to expect at our booth in addition to our delicious Vermont-grown apples and legendary lip balm: 

Free Oar Repairs
Your oars are only as good as their tuning. At our Concept2 tent, our oar techs will be doing onsite oar repairs, and servicing throughout the weekend. Priority goes to crews racing. Learn more here. 

Warmup Tent
Concept2 provides a dedicated Warm-Up Tent near the team trailers in Parking Lot 4, offering RowErgs and BikeErgs for athletes to prepare for their races on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tug-O-Erg: A Rowing Battle Like No Other
Think you've got what it takes to out-pull your opponent? Grab a friend—or a rival—and step into the Tug-O-Erg arena. This 1-v-1 rowing showdown pits two people on connected RowErgs in a tug-of-war style challenge. It’s fun, fast, and fiercely competitive.
