This year, Concept2 provided Regatta Service at ten North American and nine international events. It is hard to estimate how many oars and sculls we worked on, but our guess is over 3500 oars. At the Head Of The Charles ® Regatta alone we worked on 750 oars!

Concept2 is proud to be able to support our products long after purchase. Visiting so many diverse regattas also allows us to see customers at all levels of competition and travel all over the world. Rowing is familiar in all these locations, but the local hospitality and culture make each visit special.

A few highlights from our travels this year:

Sightseeing at the Land Run Monument on the way to the Head of the Oklahoma.

Bob and Meredith at the Devon Boathouse for the Head of the Oklahoma Regatta.

Bob in proper dress code at the Henley Royal Regatta.

The Head Of The Charles didn’t disappoint. It was a cold and chilly weekend in Boston full of racing and crowds! Concept2 employees Dick, Peter, Judy, Meredith, Aaron, Kevin and Alex raced (in different events!).

The Head Of The Charles Concept2 Club 4+.

Piles and piles of repairs at the Head of the Hooch.

When our team travels on the road, it's a chance for us to meet all the many great athletes and coaches we connect with on email and phones.

"I had a chance to meet Jeff and a few others who were at Head of the Hooch this weekend. All the guys were great, and super helpful with some blade considerations and changes we have underway. Huge props to you and all your crew for being awesome."  (Catawba Yacht Club)

At this year's Head of the Hooch, we welcomed Todd Lolacono from our oar shop to the Regatta Service Team. With the weather proving unpredictable, we saw a shortened race weekend due to high winds on the course. However, the Concept2 Regatta Crew prevailed and set a new record of oars service... over 700 oars! Another fitting end to a great regatta season.

We appreciate all the many thanks received throughout the season. Train hard this winter; we'll see everyone back on the water in spring! The San Diego Crew Classic will be here soon enough...
