The Skinny on SkiErg Stance

The SkiErg offers a great full-body workout engaging arms, core and legs. To get the most out of your workout, you’ll want to set yourself up for the proper technique. Technique starts as soon as you approach the machine and decide where to stand on the floor stand (or on the floor in front of a wall-mounted SkiErg).

10 Questions with Pepa Miloucheva

Pepa Miloucheva graduated from Bulgarian Sport University in 1993 with a Masters degree in Physical Education and Sport Science. A member of the Bulgarian National Ski Orienteering team from 1983 to 1995, she was the 1994 Ski Orienteering World Champion. Pepa came to Craftsbury, Vermont, 22 years ago and helped start the Craftsbury Nordic Ski Club at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center with then-ski director John Brodhead and a few local parents and their kids. Four of those kids have since gone on to race in the Olympics in Nordic skiing and Biathlon. Pepa is now the ski coach of Craftsbury’s Green Racing Project, a development program for Nordic skiers, biathletes and rowers. Continue Reading ›

Justin Farina is a high school physical education teacher from Sarnia, Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University (Ohio) and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Windsor (Ontario). He played Division I baseball while at Miami and competed in shot put at Windsor. Justin is a multiple SkiErg world record holder in the men’s 30-39 division and participates in virtual competitions and challenges on both the Concept2 Indoor Rower and SkiErg. 10 Questions with Mike "Coach B" Burgener

The legendary "Coach B" Mike Burgener, is a Level 5 Senior International Weightlifting coach for the United States. He is a graduate of Notre Dame and obtained his MS degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Kentucky. He was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Coach Burgener is currently the head coach of CrossFit Weightlifiting. He runs Mike's Gym out of his garage, where he regularly works out with his crew of geezers and provides Olympic weightlifting coaching to athletes of all ages. Coach B took some time to answer our 10 Questions.
