With this year’s last 2k of the indoor season in the proverbial rearview, I am ready to shift gears. Post race season is a time to refocus and refresh, to evaluate last year’s goals and set new ones for the coming year. The 2019 World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints Is Here!

The fourth annual World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints begins on March 6 and runs through March 10. The Indoor Sprints are an exciting joint initiative between Concept2 and World Rowing. To take part, all you have to do is row 1000 meters on the Concept2 Indoor Rower (Model A–E indoor rowers only, no Dynamic or indoor rowers on Slides) at any point between March 6-10 and post your time to the Concept2 Online Logbook. 2019 World Rowing Indoor Championship Round-Up

The second World Rowing Indoor Championships took place on Sunday, February 24, in the sunny climes of Long Beach, California. There was strong international flavor throughout the entire day. For the first time, the biggest international team came from Mexico, with 44 athletes competing. There were also large teams from France, Great Britain and Germany, but athletes came from far afield, with 35 separate countries represented, including competitors from Japan, South Korea, Egypt and Chile.
