Big Goals and Big Giving: The 2019 Holiday Challenge

To the many athletes who helped make the 2019 Holiday Challenge a huge success—thank you! As a result of your efforts on the RowErg, SkiErg and BikeErg, we raised over $45,000 for five not-for-profit organizations.

We continue to increase our annual participation levels for the Holiday Challenge, and as a result, we're able to support many great charities.This year, a record 18,061 people participated, which was a staggering number given that there was a short window of challenge time between American Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Concept2 pledged to increase the donation amount by $20,000 this year if we reached 20,000 people. While we didn't make this goal, we're still so pleased by your efforts. Therefore, we will be adding a percentage of $20k to reflect the progress that we made toward our goal. The total amount raised was $45,571.59!

Our 2019 charitable donations will be given to:

• The Nature Conservancy: $21,274.22
• 350.org: $3610.19
• The Sierra Club: $6919.60
• Renewable World: $9591.72
• Vermont Natural Resources Council: $4175.86

Participants who completed 200k meters or more can expect to receive a Holiday Challenge pin prize sometime in late February or March, depending on your location.
