World Rowing Indoor Championships

The third World Rowing Indoor Championships (WRIC) is headed to Europe. It will be take place in Paris on February 7–8, 2020 and will be hosted by the French Rowing Federation. The World Rowing announcement can be found on their website.

The World Rowing Indoor Championships has official world championship status. The race changes venue each year, showcasing a truly international sport and bringing the best athletes from all corners of the globe. The event is open to anyone who wants to compete, with no qualification necessary.

Concept2 will be setting up group discounts for hotels and a tour for those wishing to join the “North American Team” in Paris. More information will be posted here once it is available.

In addition, the second USRowing Indoor Championships will be held in 2020, with the date and location to be announced by USRowing shortly. Concept2 will offer a travel stipend to athletes who compete at a Concept2 sanctioned event in North America, meet or beat the time standard for their age category at the race, and go on to compete at the USRowing Indoor Championships. All Concept2 sanctioned events will appear on the indoor race calendar.
