Update for May 4, 2020

Ordering and Shipping

Vermont is gradually easing restrictions of the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order. Following careful guidance, we have started limited production of the black Model D RowErg.

At this time, we are processing orders for Black Model Ds beginning with customers who joined the wait list at the start of the production pause on a first-come, first-served basis. There are still many unknowns relative to production rates, so it is impossible to estimate the speed at which we’ll be able to work through the backlog.

We’re still currently out of stock of all Model Es, Dynamic, BikeErgs, SkiErgs and SkiErg Floor Stands. We do not yet have any estimates on availability dates.

US and Canadian customers interested in purchasing any of our RowErgs, the BikeErg or SkiErg should sign up for the wait list so we can keep you informed as we get more information in this rapidly changing situation. We will be emailing members of the wait list weekly to keep you informed of the status.

Oar Production

We are still under an official “Stay at Home, Stay Safe” order here in Vermont, but planning for when we are up and running.

Ordering and Shipping

We are out of stock of all Model Ds, all Model Es, the Dynamic, BikeErgs, SkiErgs and SkiErg Floor Stands due to production stoppage resulting from the COVID-19 crisis.

To streamline production of the RowErg, we will initially only be producing the black Model D when production resumes. This will not affect production of the SkiErg, SkiErg Floor Stand, BikeErg or Dynamic RowErg. We do not yet have any estimates on availability dates.

Update for April 15, 2020

On Friday, April 10th, Vermont’s “Stay at Home, Stay Safe” order was extended beyond the original April 15th date. While we don’t know exactly when we will be able to resume production, we are working on procedural and physical changes to the factory to allow us to safely resume production. Thank you for your continued patience and support as we collectively navigate these uncertain times.

Community and Connection

When rowing seasons were cut short, we heard from coaches, student athletes and parents alike that continuing training as a team was of the utmost importance. We have created the Spring VIII Series 2020, in a hope to help fill that gap. This is a team challenge open to all categories. There will be 5 different workouts over the course of 5 weeks beginning April 6th. We have youth (U19) and collegiate categories as well as ‘Open’ for anyone that wants to participate. See where you and your team stacks up across 5 domains.

Concept2 Oar production is temporarily suspended, including production on current orders. We will continue accepting quotes. When production resumes, quotes will be processed in the order in which they were received.

In the US*, Concept2 is still shipping most orders within three business days of receipt. Once your order has shipped, please track it using the information provided by UPS or FedEx. Although we are getting our orders out as quickly as possible, the long-reaching effects on carrier networks are evolving day-by-day. We will provide updates here if anything changes.

To assist our customer support team with managing contact volume, please limit phone calls to our business hours, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m. ET.

You can help us optimize our processing time by:

  • Shipping product to the same address as your billing address, as much as possible.
  • Ensuring the shipping and billing information on your order is accurate prior to submitting your order.

To help the nation’s supply chains, please avoid ordering the same product from multiple sources with a plan to return the items that arrive last.

Once your order has shipped, please track it using the information provided by UPS or FedEx. Although we are getting our orders out as quickly as possible, the long-reaching effects on carrier networks are evolving day-by-day.

We are still accepting orders for oars. Please contact us if you would like to discuss delivery timing and options.

Update for March 13, 2020

It’s become clear that the world is facing an unprecedented challenge. Like you, we are concerned about Coronavirus (COVID-19), and want to do what we can to keep our employees, families, communities and customers safe. We take this responsibility seriously.

We are actively monitoring the situation and assessing risks, and are ready to implement immediate changes to ensure a high level of safety. We are following government guidelines on the steps we should take to mitigate the spread of the virus.

What We Are Doing

  • Our employees have been advised to follow hygiene protocol, stay home if they feel unwell and take the time they need to care for themselves or their families.
  • Our sick time policy has been revised to give employees peace of mind if they need to be home due to illness.
  • We have instituted a no-travel policy for all employees until further notice.
  • We are advising employees to work from home if possible.
  • We are monitoring new developments so that we can quickly adapt and continue to provide a safe environment for our employees and exceptional customer service.
  • There has been no disruption to date in our ability to fulfill and ship orders. At the moment, it is business as usual at Concept2, and we’ll continue to be here for you for as long as it’s safe to do so.
