Thousands of people from all walks of life and from all parts of the world have discovered that the thrill of racing adds something to indoor rowing that no other exercise has - competition!

For those of you looking for this added spice, this section is for you. If you'd like to try indoor racing on a local scale, browse our calendar of events to find a race near you. If you'd like an excuse to travel this fall, take a trip to the British Indoor Rowing Championships in Birmingham and enjoy a bit of curry while wandering along Birmingham's lovely canals.

Hundreds of Indoor Rowing Races are now held around the world each year. Some are small - a handful of people at a local club; others are huge, like CRASH-B, with over 1500 competitors on over a hundred ergs at a large indoor track location!

The races are open to anyone - you don't have to be a champion. We encourage everyone to consider participating in a race, or at least coming to watch one. It makes a great training goal to get you through the winter.
