PM3 Version Timeline & Checking Your Firmware Version

PM3 Firmware Version Timeline

There are two current versions of PM3 Firmware:

  • Version 311 (released November 2010)
  • Version 105 (released February 2010)

Current firmware releases resolve many of the issues identified in earlier firmware versions. If you are not running the most current firmware for your monitor, we recommend upgrading. Visit the Firmware Overview page if you need information about which firmware version applies to your monitor.

Checking Your Firmware Version

  1. Power up the PM3 and access the PM3 Main Menu. (If you use a LogCard to turn on the PM3, or if there is a LogCard in the PM3 when you turn it on, you will need to select a user on the LogCard, and then select Main Menu.)
  2. From the Main Menu, select More Options > Utilities > Product ID. Depending on your firmware version, the version number will be displayed as follows:
    • Listed as "PM3 Firmware Version" at the top of the Product ID window (see Figure A below)
    • In large numbers at the bottom left of the Product ID window (see Figure B below)
    • As the last three digits on the line following PM3 Application Info (see Figure C below)

If the version number displayed is anything but the current version, Concept2 recommends updating your firmware.
