Concept2's specialty is building custom oars of component parts. This allows us to offer you many options, and allows you the freedom to choose the options that will work best for you.
Choose Your Components
Each pair of sculls or set of sweeps is built according to your choice of:
- Blade
- Shaft
- Oar length
- Grip
We recommend choosing components in the order listed above. Start with blade type, because blade type has the greatest impact on boat speed and oar length. Use the information on the pages in this section to inform your choice.
We also recommend having one of our ordering guides in hand while you read through these pages. Make note of the components you choose, and have the guide with you when you call to order.
