Rowing for the Determined, the Hard Core, the Crazy…
Marathon and Ultra Rowing are not for everyone, but many of our customers enjoy the challenge of going for the long distance. Even if you would never dream of rowing a marathon yourself, you might enjoy reading stories about those who do, and you will be amazed at some of the records. Marathon rowing has also been used very successfully to raise funds for a variety of causes.
Concept2 recognizes the following marathon events and categories:
- Individual Marathon
42,195 meters all in one sitting. This event is included in our Online Ranking, where you can register your time and view the times of others who have entered their times for this challenging distance. If you send us documentation of your marathon, we will send you the official C2 Marathon Mug to commemorate your achievement.
- 100,000 Meter Challenge
Team or Individual. This event was originally designed for small teams, but we have had hardy individuals complete it solo as well.
