• This product is required if you plan to monitor your heart rate on a PM2, PM2+, or PM3, because these Performance Monitors do not have a built-in heart rate receiver.

This chest belt is included with every PM4; it is not necessary to purchase unless you prefer to have more than one chest belt. This chest belt will fit chest sizes 25"–45".

• You row in multiple locations and would like to have a chest belt for each location.

The Garmin chest belt uses ANT technology to send your heart rate to a receiver that is built-in to the PM4 circuit board. Using the Garmin method, no additional accessories are required to see your heart rate on the PM4.
