Here's how it works:
» The Holiday Challenge is an online event, so you will need internet access. Try a local library if you don't have web access at home.
» Enter all the meters you row between November 22 and December 24 into your Personal Logbook at www.concept2.com.
» Successful finishers will be listed online, and will receive online instructions for obtaining their hard-earned T-shirt and certificate of achievement.
Want to try it? Take the following steps between now and November 22 to establish a Personal Profile on the C2 Online Ranking. (If you already have a profile, you don't need to do anything until you have meters to enter.)
- Go to www.concept2.com.
- Click on "Personal Logbook."
- Click on "Log In."
- Click on "New Profile."
- Fill out the form, being sure to complete the required fields. Click "Submit" to create your profile.
- You are now a member of the C2 Online Community. To enter your workout meters, click on "Enter a new result for the 2002 season."
Now, whenever you want to enter a workout:
- Go to www.concept2.com.
- Click on "Personal Logbook."
- Click on "Log In."
- Enter your e-mail address and password.
- Click on "Enter a new result for the 2002 season" to enter your meters rowed.
When you reach the goal of 200,000 meters, you will receive a special online link to our shopping cart where you can order your T-shirt! (You will be charged only US$5.00 for shipping and handling).
Note: T-shirt offer is valid only in the U.S. and Canada.

"Just wanted to thank Concept2 for offering the holiday challenge. It was just what I needed to start erging and preparing for the Philly Main Line Slide [indoor rowing regatta]. Up until now, I couldn't stand to row longer than 20 minutes and couldn't figure out how anyone could possibly row 10,000 meters on a regular basis throughout the winter. My rowing partner just laughed when your challenge was issued and I said, "Let's do it." Well, I did it and found that I really got into it. I got into rowing the longer distances and like using your online log. Thank you very much."

"Thanks for the challenge. Instead of putting on the usual five, I managed to stay at the same old weight in spite of eating all those Christmas cookies. I look forward to participating in the future."

"Just wanted to thank you and Concept2 for the holiday challenge. It really got me motivated to row more than I ever have. My typical session was around 10k, 2-3 times per week if I was lucky. The challenge got me up to 15k four or more times per week. I am really making some good progress and hope to continue at this pace."
