Marathon plan now taking a back seat once more. Still getting in plenty of mileage but I can't really commit myself to the 5 rows a week required. I'm well on track to beat my previous best for a year (1.6 million)

Apart from a frozen shoulder and occasional gout nothing will get in the way of at least a million metres this year! |

Proud to say that I am now at least as fit as I have ever been, largely due to the Concept 2. Forced to give up running by history of injuries but no problems so far with the rowing. Determined not to go backwards before I hit 60. Currently averaging over 100K per month (and enjoying it!) |

4th place in 04 with 10.1M no idea how I managed that. Completed 15M at the end of 05. Poor season 06 just 200k ish. Just short of 1M for 07. 2M in 08. 1.7ishM in 2009. Wow, I've lost some weight. Down to 143.4Kg,(17/05/2009). Rowing and diabetes are both a pain in the ass. 20M completed 30/04/09.

doing daily gym workouts, so my contributions this year will depend on what time and energy, if any, I have left for the C2. Hope they may increase as I get fitter. |

18 November 09 - Pleased to be back on the rower after a break of a few months. This morning's 30 minutes was a bit of struggle although I'll soon get used to the morning routine again. Should be able to do 20K most weeks. |

Since suffering a knee injury whilst running the Bath Half Marathon in March 2005, I have taken to erging to keep up fitness levels.
I have become addicted to it!
I am now back to running with several Half Marathons and the Neolithic Marathon planned for 2006.
Erging is now a significant part of my training schedules as the cross-training exercise of choice.
I have recently been diagnosed with exercise-induced asthma and since using the medication have found my times reducing.
Proud to be asked to join the W.I.S.E. team, will definitely hit the 500,000 committment and hopefully another 100k on top. |
