What I do for a living perform the duties of a Senior Vice President and Senior Client Manager for Bank of America’s Global Commercial Bank in McLean, VA.
Who I am is a rower, a passion that has been with me for ten years. I grew up in central PA, in Altoona, near State College. I was an offensive and defensive tackle on the Hollidaysburg Area High School football team, weighing in at a peak of 256 lbs. my senior year.
With my love of politices taking me to The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., I elected to not play football in college. With my long-term health a concern, I began to run, originally only 1/4 of a mile without stopping. By my freshman year I was up to 6 miles/day and then found the love of rowing, joining the Division I Men's Rowing Team in 1996. I ended my collegiate career as captain of the team in 1999.
Now removed from proximity of the Potomac River, I've relyed on the "Iron Horse" to keep me in top shape. As oppossed to treadmills or elipticals, the erg always lets me know when I'm giving up, out of shape, pushing through...I never have to worry about my workouts being a joke, I know exactly what I put in I'll get out on the back-end.
