Rotterdam   NLD I started rowing on the erg at the beginning of 2005. I have not been fond of sports all my live. I was kindly suprised that I do like using the erg and it has made a huge attribution to my wellbeing. I now row for about 50km a week. I start most of my days rowing just after getting out of bed en befor going to work.

Emmen Netherlands NLD After 7 years of running, including 3 marathons, I started rowing in september 2002 because of a runners knee and an achilles-injury. It stuck and in november 2002 I bought my own C2. Until may this year I averaged 15K a week, my goal for this year is an average of at least 5K a day.

Noordeinde NH NLD Indoorrowing since january 2000. Goal is to stay in shape and keep my condition after 2 cancer operations and X-ray treatment. In 2003 I rowed about 6 km a day and in 2004 I row 10 km a day.It becomes a habit. I don't feel well when I cannot do a daily row exercise. So keep rowing everyone, try to stay healthy and enjoy your children and grandchildren.

Giesbeek Gelderland NLD I like indoor rowing very much. Since may 2006 I have my own Concept2 rower at home, and so I am training much more. Everytime when you row a new personal time it gives you a very good feeling. It's great to row!!!!

Meerssen The Netherlands (Limburg) NLD Starting in 2003, till 2006 rowed about 3 million mtrs per year, since 2007 this is much less unfortunately. I had even a sabbatical during 2008 and rowed not more than 150K. (just one week some years before) Affect of this is an enourmous extra weight, so from August 2009 I try to pick it up again...

Den Haag   NLD I started in march 2002, but didn't row much... season 2003 28,8 km. In season 2004 just 4,8 km and in season 2005 I didn't row at all... In april 2005 (season 2006) I started again (86,7 km) to fall back in the next season (18,3 km). In april 2007 I became 40, the beginning of a new life... so back on the concept 2 and row, row, row. Season 2008 started great: in two weeks already more km than last year. In total 47,6 km. In oktober 2007 it stopped again, till the beginning of 2009. I'll go for longer distances and the challenges. And that worked out. Season 2009: 325km! Including half a marathon... I'm thrilled. In season 2010 I'm finally going to break the one million meters. I guess that'll be in july 2009.
