I bought a C2 (model "C") rower for my 50th birthday, and began rowing in earnest. The past two years were "weak", but I've returned to my model "D", and am working to integrate rowing and bicycling (I'm "car-free"). If you want a non-judgmental rowing team, join "Row Pain, Row Gain"! horen@horen.org.il

Started using rowing machine 8/1/2004 and got hooked on the challenge of improving my times and getting in shape. Bought my own rower May of 2005 and love every minute using it, even the painful workouts. Enjoying rowing and leaving all of life's troubles behind with each catch and drive.

Thanks team RPRG. My goal is to row as a lightweight! Love to be connected with others that enjoy the "erg".
Row, row, row my erg,
Meters for our team,
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily
Teammates support the dream!

I was a rower at UNH in the ealy 90s and miss it. I am currently a mother of two little ones and I work remotely from home. With the help of my erg I am skinnier than before I had my kids, but I still have about 30 lbs to be where I want to be. I have recently moved to Colorado and am getting back into fitness. It's a bit harder at this altitude, but I'll get used to it.

Continuing on a long slow life changing path. Down to 213 from a high of 240. Body fat percentage 16%. Not sure if I will wind up under 200 or put on enough muscle that my body fat % will be the only goal that matters. Rowing is just one part of the fun. I am a huge believer in static contraction training (it works for me) Of course you have to have a tanita scale. It kept me from going crazy, but log time of day etc.. because it can be up and down and sideways and it is the pattern that makes sense of it all. Enough of the rambling.

Hi, I'm 8 years old. I joined Row Pain-Row Gain, because it's the team my dad is on. I love to play soccer. I have 6 pets: a dog and 5 rats. My favorite food is hamburgers. I enjoy rowing a lot. And I'm on a swim team.
