I'd much rather be sculling! That's me with the single that was a gift from my husband. I'm a dedicated (obsessed...) distance runner who's added rowing to the mix. I love being on the water, both sweep and single. I am not so fond of the erg but it does make you tough.

Started rowing at the University of Minnesota in 1981, rowed for the Minneapolis Boat Club the summer of '83, and transfered to the University of Washington the fall of '83 and rowed on the lightweight crew through '86. After graduation, joined the Lake Natomas Rowing Club and am currently training out of the River City Rowing Club in Sacramento, CA.

Heading into my second sprint season! Have had opportunities to row in great venues this past year. We even made it to Seattle! Great fun even though the regatta was cancelled. Last weekend joined Los Gatos for a day of practice and scrimmaging. After seeing what they have to do each morning just to get on the water we are definitely counting our blessings. Have a great season! :-)
