I also enjoy cycling, especially on a trike, and rowing on wheels on my Irish Mail.

I usually watch one of Xeno's DVD's when I use the C2. They're great fun. I also row on the water.

As a type II diabetic, I have to concentrate on aerobics as well as build muscle mass. Rowing is a perfect combination of both.

Rowed at Univ of San Diego in 1985. Just trying to stay in shape. This is the fourth year I've really gotten into the log board. Keeps the motivation high. Want to stay on a 1,500,000 meter per year pace. Trying to lower my times: 1K 3:14.4, 2K 6:35.6, 5K 17:45.7, 10K 37:09.6.

I started indoor rowing at the local YMCA for exercise and weight loss. I used to run for these reasons but after three knee surguries, foot surgery, and other ortho problems, I needed some other form of exercise. I have only been rowing for about two weeks but it feels like home. This is something I look forward to instead of put up with. I want one million meters by my birthday on 10/20 when I will be 58 years old.

The Iron Oarsman is great for learning and motivation.
I have done endurance sports for thirty years. Rowing is the best because it builds one up and repairs past injuries instead of breaking one down. Xeno and the Iron oarsman are the best.

Not so lean now... GOAL is: 77.1 kg of lean muscle from a PEAK of 99.6 kg (with not so lean muscle)! The C2 is the best way to do it... with the proper diet of course! Goal for the 2009 rowing season: 2 million meters.

I row a Maas Aero on Paintsville Lake in eastern Kentucky; I'm a US Rowing referee and a nonresident member of Oak Ridge (TN) Rowing Association; and I get up 5 am every day (in the off season) and row my Model D. Great way to burn off stress. Rowing has helped me lose weight and get my cardiovascular and strength fitness back. And it feels so good!
