I am approaching 5 years of rowing; both on the erg and OTW. I am one of those odd people who prefer the erg to a boat---likely due to the efficiency of the erg and there is no need to carry the boat and worry about weather. I love the Row pro river and I try to get there 4-6 x a week. I've rowed just over 8 million meters. My outdoor sports are running, some biking and golf.

So far this season 5th place in the 30-39 y. age group as a LWT at the BIRC.

Hi everyone, introduced to the Forum Flyers By Shirley and trained by Pete Marston. Started my new life of rowing on the 28/04/08 and have not stopped since. too many false starts before that of 1 -2 days and then stopped. I am now offically an ERG-AHOLIC :)
I am trying to lose weight and weighed around 145kg 18 months ago and now I am 108kgs (as at 25/04/09) and going down.
