One of the three eights that First and Third Trinity Boat Club Association got out on the Cam on Saturday 4th October 2008 was short of three oarsmen so I was able to row at bow. Now I am looking forward to the the biennial dinner in 2010!

As a senior at St. Paul’s School in Concord in 1966, I stroked a truly fine eight - defeated only in the final race of the Princess Elizabeth Cup at the Henley Regatta by an astoundingly good British boat from Emanuel School.
Fast forward to 2009 and, despite having had emergency abdominal surgery two years ago, I find myself staying quite satisfyingly fit and in control of diabetes.
