Hi everyone, I'll be cross training on the erg (maybe a race or two!) Most of my exercise time now is going toward cycling and I'm just getting into Kung Fu with the kids. Happy Rowing!

I had been using the C2 in the gym for about 5 years and always wanted one of my own, but never had the room. However, when we moved to Canada and bought a house with a basement I ordered a C2. It arrived on Dec 6th 2004.
I alternate rowing with running and mountain biking.

I purchased my C2 model C in 1995 then began using it semi-regularly in March 2004. The physical and psychological benefits of regular exercise are great. I look forward to logging many metres in the years to come.

I am a competitive triathlete and mountain biker. I am not very fast in either but I do enjoy the challenge/competition. My hope for rowing is to keep me fit and motivated so that I am ready for racing season and oh yeah I'd really like to beat 1:30 for 500m and 7:00 for 2000m.

I bought my model c erg about one year ago to dragonboat train off season and have become addicted. Great workout that can be done early in the morning when my kids are still sleeping. Any dragonboat training tips would be appreciated. mikensuzanne@canada.com

BOOMER SOONER! I purchased my erg in 1999 and have done the HC for 4 holidays, rowing mostly just during this time. I now am trying to lose weight and committed to rowing 5-6 times a week long distance for as much of the season as possible. I would like to try the Wolverine discipline and see where this gets me. I also would like to enter a race in the future. I wish everyone well.

I started rowing back in the UK in my early thirties, at the local hotel gym. At that time I could not even row for more than 20 minutes.
I then moved to Canada in 97 and although I was quick to purchase a C2 over here, I never really pushed it that hard.
Well, the Holiday Challange for 2004 changed all that and I row 6 days a week now :)
Here's to lifelong fitness!

Started erging in 2004 to keep in shape over the winter. So far, erging has helped me shed over 30 lbs.
Recently got bitten by the Triathlon bug, and Rowing has provided a way to cross train on those days when I'm too lazy to drag my sorry ass to the pool.
Happy Erging to All! Go EH! team.
