Alexandria VA USA I bought my C2 in July of 2005 when I hit my weight high of ~190 lbs. I had considered buying a C2 for several years, but was apprehensive, not sure if I could stick to an exercise program. Happily, with the motivation from the C2 forums, I've been rowing consistently (4-5 times per week) for almost 4 months now and I have dropped down to 168 lbs. (My target is 160 lbs.)

Gentry AR USA Hi! Started rowing: May 28, 2005. My main goals are to lose weight and improve overall fitness. Don't mind rowing with others in the same boat.... Pounds Lost so far: 7. Never under estimate the value of a few meters at a time. You are never behind...yesterday's meters don't count, just jump in and row today! If your goal is to lose weight and have fun, come join team: Row Pain Row Gain.

Altamonte Springs FL USA Continuing on a long slow life changing path. Down to 213 from a high of 240. Body fat percentage 16%. Not sure if I will wind up under 200 or put on enough muscle that my body fat % will be the only goal that matters. Rowing is just one part of the fun. I am a huge believer in static contraction training (it works for me) Of course you have to have a tanita scale. It kept me from going crazy, but log time of day etc.. because it can be up and down and sideways and it is the pattern that makes sense of it all. Enough of the rambling.

Colorado Springs CO USA I was a rower at UNH in the ealy 90s and miss it. I am currently a mother of two little ones and I work remotely from home. With the help of my erg I am skinnier than before I had my kids, but I still have about 30 lbs to be where I want to be. I have recently moved to Colorado and am getting back into fitness. It's a bit harder at this altitude, but I'll get used to it.
