Got the new Model A erg in 1984 and have upgraded with each new model. Made 1,151,000 meters in 2003-2004 erg season, 1,934,833 '05-'06. Got new VanDusen in 1986 and an Empacher in 1996. Started the Berry College Viking Crew in 1989 and the Darlington Prep School Crew in 2002 with 1xs, 2xs and 4+s. 2004 season by far my best. Got new Kaschper Extreme hwt 1x 2004. Started working with Marlene Royle 2003 with great improvement posting my best times ever at age 69 (regatta age 70) fall 2004. Silver Medal @ CRASH-B's in Boston 2-05 2000m=7:14.6. Was disappointed with 3rd at the Nationals 8-05 and started working with Sergei Beliaev at 3Srowing.com. Got 7th at head of the CHARLES 10-05 and GOLD at HEAD of the HOOCH 11-05. GOLD HAMMER C.R.A.S.H.-B 2/25/06 2000M = 7:18.5. Dislocated lt shoulder and fx rib 9/24/06 told could not row for 8 wks - 11-5-06 Hooch missed gold by 0.6 sec behind Red Sargent in 17:23.9. Gold at Hd of the South 11-11-06 in 22:31.3 beating Bill Dunlap by 0:15.3(for 1st time in my life)	1,006,249
