Chandler AZ USA I've admired the concept II rower for some time but couldn't/wouldn't part with the cash to get one and no gym's in the area have them. My body condition was in sad shape, getting fater, bad eating and no time to work out. I was at a low point when by chance I checked Ebay and couldn't believe a used Model C with PM2+ in my area was for sale at a great price. I beat feet over and got it. The most amazing thing to me is I love using it and look forward to each workout. It's the first exercise equipment I've ever purchased and the longer I own it the more I use it. I would have bought a new one years before if I would have known how fun it is to row. Price is no object.

Mesa AZ USA Started rowing in January 2004, in the middle of the desert on the man-made Tempe Town Lake (two miles long) in Tempe, Arizona, USA. Took 3 sweep and 1 sculling class with the City of Tempe. Also took 3 erging classes with the city. (Only entered some PR attempts from those classes onto the C2 website.) UPDATE: Not having rowed (or erged) since Fall 2004, it is now March 2007, and I just purchased a new Model E. I enter PRs in the Men's Heavyweights - age 40 to 49. It's good to be back!!!

Tempe AZ USA I got addicted to rowing at Holy Names Academy, Seattle, in 1995. I kept going at Tufts University (1999-2003), and am currently rowing with the Outlaws in Arizona. In the interim, I've spent time with Interlochen Rowing Club and Cascade Crew in Seattle at the Pocock Center. My photo is of rowing on an erg hooked up to a generator that is powering the lights in an art installation at Arizona State University.

Phoenix AZ USA I rowed for two years in college, then stopped for over 15 years. I started again as non-impact exercise to save my knees. 25 pounds and 3 million meters later I am still going strong.

Tempe AZ USA I rowed at Purdue from 1997-99, and have rediscovered the erg after moving to a water-less climate, then re-discovered that rowers are resourceful and will build a lake if need be. Rowing as an AZ Outlaw and w/ Rio Salado on the water.
