For use with the LogCard, the Athena Card Reader provides another option for connecting your LogCard to your computer for uploading and managing your LogCard data. Although it is possible to use the Performance Monitor for this function, having a card reader can be handy if your machine and computer are not near each other, you prefer not to remove your PM from your machine to take it to your computer, or if you typically workout at a gym but keep your data on a LogCard. Note: Regardless of whether you use a card reader or a PM to read your card, you will also need our free Concept2 Utility software. Once installed on your computer, the Concept2 Utility provides the interface and functions so you can see the data on your card and work with it.

Before purchasing a card reader, please review the device and operating system compatibility information below. We sell the Athena ASE IIIe, but an OmniKey CardMan 3121 will also work.
