Resolution for Error Code 50

If this is a new indoor rowing machine, ensure that the plastic wrap has been removed from the flywheel. If the problem persists or is occurring after the plastic wrap has been removed, take the following steps:

  1. Inspect the back of the performance monitor for a Model C label.
  2. Check the Performance Monitor's Product ID screen:
    1. On the Performance Monitor Main Menu, choose More Options.
    2. Choose Utilities.
    3. Chose Product ID.
    4. Take note of what the screen shows next to Model: "B/C" or "D/E."
  3. Take note of the serial number on your indoor rower.
  4. Contact Concept2 with the information from steps 1–3 and ask to speak to a technician.
