Pairing Your Garmin Chest Belt with Your PM4

Pairing Without a LogCard

  1. Put the chest belt on, and press any button on the PM4 to turn the monitor on.
  2. On the PM4 Main Menu, select More Options.
  3. Select Connect Heart Rate. Within 5–10 seconds, the PM4 will list the IDs of any chest belts it finds, preceded by "ANT + HR" for Garmin.
  4. Choose the ID that corresponds to your chest belt.
  5. On the PM4 Confirm screen, select Confirm.

Pairing with a LogCard

  1. Put the chest belt on, and press any button on the PM4 to turn the monitor on.
  2. Insert your LogCard into the monitor.
  3. On the PM4 Main Menu, select More Options.
  4. Select Connect Heart Rate. Within 5–10 seconds, the PM4 will list the IDs of any chest belts it finds, preceded by "ANT + HR" for Garmin.
  5. Choose the ID that corresponds to your chest belt.
  6. On the PM4 Confirm screen, select Remember Belt. This saves your chest belt's ID to your LogCard so that the PM automatically detects your chest belt in the future.
