Managing Race Nerves

If you’ve ever raced, then I’m sure you’ve certainly dealt with pre-race nerves. When your stomach is in knots it’s tough to remember that these endorphin-fueled nerves are actually a good thing and help propel you off the line. It’s how you deal with racing challenges that makes or breaks champions. So, who better to weigh in on pre-race nerves than my teammates? I hope you enjoy this candid video featuring members of the US National Women’s Rowing Team. We each took turns offering tidbits of advice during a group stretch at the Princeton Training Center, Spring 2011.
