Linking up an 8+
The Dynamic Indoor Rower brings an on-water feel to indoor training, making it feel like rowing in a single without getting on the water. Now, with the Dynamic Link, you can turn your single into a double or create whatever team boat you want!
Concept2 employees “linked up” in an 8+ one afternoon to test it out. The Link is easy to set up: just engage the Link’s pins into the brackets on each Dynamic Indoor Rower and start rowing!
While rowing as an 8+ provides useful feedback, using the Link in smaller boat configurations reacts more dramatically to changes in stroke length, stroke rate and pace. Since a linked 8+ takes up considerable space, we imagine athletes will more often practice in linked pairs or fours. Just like rowing in small boats, these smaller boats offer significant teaching opportunities to improve pair partner and boat line-ups.
