Getting Ready for the 2013 World Indoor Rowing Championships

Feb 14, 2013

The 32nd World Indoor Rowing Championships hosted by the CRASH-B Sprints takes place on Sunday, February 17, at the Agganis Arena at Boston University.

The world championships are the highlight of the indoor race season, and over 2000 competitors from 14 to 94 years old will be taking part on the day, including the biggest ever adaptive athlete turnout. The current rumor is that Olena Buryak of the Ukraine is in form and not only looking to win the Women’s Open Heavyweight event but also to set a new record as the fastest woman ever.

Entry is free for spectators, but if you can’t make it there in person, make sure you check out the World IRC section of our website, where we’ll be broadcasting all the action live! Our webcast starts at 9 a.m. ET, and we’ll also be updating our website throughout the day with full results, race replays and photographs.
