The 31st CRASH-B Sprints Indoor Rowing Championship takes place on Sunday, February 19 at the Agganis Arena at Boston University. The CRASH-Bs are the world championships of indoor rowing, and it’s an opportunity to see everybody from Olympic champions to the stars of tomorrow compete over 2000 meters.
This year there are over 2200 entrants from more than a dozen countries, ranging in age from 13 to 91. There is also a strong adaptive entry, with 60 adaptive athletes set to race the 1000m adaptive distance.
Entry is free for spectators, but if you can’t make it there in person, do the next best thing and visit the CRASH-B section of our site to watch the live webcast of all the action! We’ll be broadcasting from 8:30 a.m. ET onwards, and the site will also be updated throughout the day with full results plus race replays and photographs.
Concept2 CTS will be supporting the event, so if you can make it, stop by and see us! We will have a booth staffed with personnel to answer your questions, and you can also try out the Dynamic and check out what we are up to with oars and blades.
The indoor rowers used for the race are for sale, so if you want to watch the fun and then take home a machine to train on for next year, please contact Nathan Paulin of Concept2 CTS at email@example.com.
If you have any questions please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we hope to see you at the race—either there or online!
