Joseph Cipolla
I started rowing back in January of 2008 when I joined Manhattan College's club crew as a freshman. I wound up falling in love with the sport, and eventually worked my way up to a team captain position by my junior year. Also in that time, my uncle (who used to row) gave me his old Model C erg, which still works great. I started logging in November of 2010, after my coach told me about the Holiday Challenge.
Currently I'm rowing out of Boathouse Row in Philadelphia, PA for Undine Barge Club. I've logged close to 4 million erg meters since the end of 2010, and I have over 2.5 million water meters recorded since I started logging them last summer. My ultimate goal is to accumulate 20 million meters for both erg and water meters.
